Attempted robbery – Wymondham

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in Wymondham.

The victim, a boy in his late teens, was walking along Sheffield Road between 8.30pm and 9pm on Friday 3 January when he was approached by four males.

One of the males grabbed the victim and searched his pockets before assaulting him.

The victim then managed to run away and nothing was stolen. He suffered minor injuries to his face.

The males are described as follows:

Male 1: White, aged between 18 and 21-years-old, tall, medium build and with blonde hair.

Male 2: White, aged between 18 and 21-years-old, 5ft 11 to 6ft tall, with dark black hair and a line shaved through his left eyebrow. It’s believed he was wearing a dark jacket and possibly had a London accent.

Male 3: Mixed race, aged between 18 and 21-years-old, approximately 5ft 9 tall, with short black hair which was curly on the top. It’s believed he was wearing a red puffer jacket and dark trousers.

Male 4: White, with fair hair which was curly on the top.

It’s believed all four men were travelling in a dark blue Vauxhall hatchback with tinted rear windows.
