Two charged in connection with burglaries at building sites

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with burglaries at building sites across the county.

Josh Terry, aged 24, and Rebecca Savidge, aged 28, both of Thorpe Road in Norwich, have been charged with two counts of burglary following incidents at building sites on Long Lane in Mulbarton on Saturday 19 January 2019 and White Horse Lane in Trowse  on Saturday 2 February 2019.

Terry and Savidge have also been charged with one count of going equipped for burglary following an incident at a building development site on Pigot Lane in Framlingham Earl on Friday 8 February 2019.

Terry was remanded into custody and was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 February whilst Savidge has been released on police bail to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday 15 March.

Two arrested in connection with building site burglaries

A man and a woman from Norwich have been arrested today following reports of burglaries at building sites across the county.

In the early hours of this morning, (Friday 8 February) police received a report of a burglary in progress at a building development site on Pigot Lane in Framingham Earl, where the offenders were disturbed and left the site.

A vehicle was later stopped in the Norwich area and a 24-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested in the early hours of this morning (Friday 8 February) on suspicion of burglary and remain in custody for questioning.
