War medals stolen during Wymondham burglary

Police are appealing for information after three war medals were stolen during a burglary in Wymondham.

A property in the Vimy Ridge area was broken into at approximately 2.30am on Saturday 11 January. It’s believed the offenders fled from the scene when they were disturbed by the occupants.

A green tin containing three war medals, two of which were the Burma Star, were stolen.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident to contact them.

They would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have seen up to three people in the area at the time. It’s believed they were all wearing black clothing.
