Necton woman charged with drug offences

A woman has been charged in connection with drug supply offences in Necton.

Officers from the Breckland Neighbourhood Policing Team stopped a woman in School Lane in Necton at 4.45pm on Wednesday 20 May and seized a quantity of heroin.

Following further enquiries, officers then seized a quantity of heroin, cash and a mobile phone at an address in Mill Street, Necton.

Romana Wright, aged 40 and of Mill Street in Necton, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

Wright appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday 21 May 2020) where she was remanded into custody ahead of a trial hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday 18 June 2020.
