Appeal for witnesses following serious collision on Hardwick Road, King’s Lynn

Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision on Hardwick Road in King’s Lynn this afternoon (Thursday 23 January 2020).

Officers were called at 3:50pm to reports of a collision between a mobility scooter and a car, close to the Hardwick roundabout.

The driver of the mobility scooter, a man in his 80’s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.

Road closures were in place in the area while emergency services, including air ambulance, dealt with the incident.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident, or from anyone who may have captured the incident on dash-cam.
