Appeal following serious collision on A11

Officers are appealing for information following a serious collision on the A11 at Spooner Row on Sunday (2 August 2020).

Officers were called to the southbound carriageway near to the on-slip at approximately 3.20pm following reports of a collision between a black Mini Cooper and a Triumph Tiger motorcycle.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to the Addenbrookes Hospital with serious injuries. He remains in the hospital.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, the manner of driving prior to the collision or has any dashcam footage of the incident. They are particularly keen to trace a white Audi and a black Yaris who are believed to have been in the immediate vicinity of the collision.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Wendy Frary in the Wymondham Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101 quoting incident number 310 of 2 August 2020.
